As of 1 July 2026, Kelli Cappelier joins NIVI Development as Senior Project Manager.
Kelli brings more than 20 years of experience in global health and vaccine programmes, with a strong track record of leading complex, multi-partner initiatives. She has worked extensively with organisations such as WHO, UNICEF, Gavi, and national governments across Africa, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia.
Most recently, she served as Project Director at JSI, where she led a Gates Foundation–funded HPV vaccine initiative supporting introduction and scale-up across more than 19 countries.
At NIVI Development, Kelli will contribute to the management and progression of vaccine development projects, including the recently announced EU-funded pandemic influenza programme focused on advancing an mRNA-based vaccine candidate into Phase 1 clinical development.
